LUMA cataract video
■ Eyemaginations is adding new content to its latest software. LUMA v1.9.5 will now include a video overview of premium IOL options in video form. The narrated video is a collaboration between LUMA and Dr. Steven Dell. It covers questions patients may have concerning premium IOLs including issues of combining accommodating and multifocal IOLs, postoperative expectations and insurance coverage. Dr. Dell, a surgeon who has been repeatedly voted to a “Cataract and Refractive Surgery Today” list of the top 50 opinion leaders in the field, says the program is designed to explain how premium IOLs can cut down on the need for glasses after cataract surgery.
