Submission Guidelines
All manuscripts should be sent via one of the two delivery mechanisms:
1. Electronically: Microsoft Word documents for text, images see note. All correspondence to: Jim Thomas at james.thomas@pentavisionmedia.com. Note: if the author wishes to submit graphics electronically, an FTP site address will be provided to the author for transfer of high-resolution images.
2. Via mail or shipping service: CD-ROM should contain Microsoft Word documents for text, high-resolution .jpg or .tif files for graphics. All correspondence to: Jim Thomas; PentaVision LLC, 321 Norristown Road, Suite 150, Ambler, PA 19002; Attn: Ophthalmic Professional; phone: 215-367-2172. Manuscripts should be double-spaced, and fully referenced. Title page should include author affiliations, financial disclosure, and contact information.
References should be cited as per the AMA Manual of Style.
All figures must be referenced within the text, accompanied by complete legends, and be either free from copyright or, if previously published, accompanied by the proper permissions or contact information to obtain those permissions.
All graphics must meet the following criteria to be printed in Ophthalmic Professional: 266 dpi @ 8" x 11".
Conflict-of-Interest Statement
With each submission, Ophthalmic Professional requires that authors list financial relationships (including but not limited to employment, contract work, stock ownership, honoraria, paid testimony) or other conflicts of interest that would jeopardize the credibility of works published in Ophthalmic Professional.
Statement of Informed Consent
Ophthalmic Professional does not publish identifying information, including patient names, initials, or hospital numbers, unless the information is essential for scientific purposes and the patient (or parent or guardian) gives written informed consent for publication.
